Privacy Policy
NEXUS GRID (NGGameGuid) collects the minimum signal required to run the network. This protocol explains what we store and why.

NEXUS GRID runs on the smallest possible footprint of operative data. We are an editorial intelligence network, not an advertising operation, and this protocol is written to be read — not buried. It explains exactly what signal we capture when you move through the Grid, why we hold it, how long it survives, and the controls you keep over your own trail. If anything here is unclear, route a question through the comms channel and a human will answer.
What we collect
We collect only what you hand us directly. When you transmit through the Establish Comms form, we store the operative name, channel address and message you typed. When you subscribe, we store the channel address alone. Each submission is timestamped and appended to a flat file on our own server. There is no database, no third-party form processor, and no hidden field harvesting metadata in the background.
Our web server, like nearly every server on the wire, writes standard access logs. These may include your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs strictly for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing technical faults — never to build a profile of you.
How we use your signal
Data you submit is used for one purpose only: to do the thing you asked for. A dispatch is read so we can reply to it. A subscription address is stored so we can route the intelligence you requested — new datacrons and recalibrated Power Levels. We do not repurpose comms data for marketing, and we do not cross-reference one channel against another to enrich a profile.
Neural Link consent (cookies & local storage)
NEXUS GRID does not run tracking cookies. The only thing we persist in your browser is a single local entry that records you accepted the Neural Link consent overlay, so it does not reappear on every visit. This value lives in your browser's localStorage, stays on your device, and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Because it is local-only, clearing your browser's site data removes it instantly and the overlay simply returns on your next visit. No server-side record of your consent state exists.
Retention — how long we keep it
Comms dispatches are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, then purged. Subscription addresses are retained until you ask to be removed. Server access logs are rotated on a short cycle and overwritten in the normal course of operations. We do not maintain indefinite archives of operative correspondence.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade operative data. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers, social pixels or analytics beacons that follow you across the open web. We do not require an account, a login or a real name to read any datacron on the Grid — the entire archive is open intelligence.
Third parties
The Grid is intentionally self-contained. Fonts are loaded to render the interface, and our hosting provider necessarily processes the traffic that reaches the server. Beyond that, your data is not shared with outside services. We will only ever disclose stored information where we are legally compelled to, and we will resist over-broad requests.
Security posture
Flat-file records are stored on our server with conventional access controls, and submissions are sanitized on arrival to keep injected payloads out of our logs. No system on the wire is perfectly secure, so we ask that you never transmit passwords, financial details or other sensitive secrets through the comms channel — it is built for correspondence, not credentials.
Your controls & rights
You hold the controls. You can clear the Neural Link entry at any time through your browser's site-data settings. You can request a copy of what we hold on you, ask for it to be corrected, or have a stored dispatch or subscription deleted entirely. To exercise any of these, send a request through the comms channel and we will action it promptly.
Operatives under 16
NEXUS GRID is written for an adult, hardcore audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact the comms channel and we will remove it.
Changes to this protocol
This protocol may be recalibrated as the network evolves and as the legal landscape shifts. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated version marker at the top of the document. Continued use of NEXUS GRID after a revision constitutes acceptance of the current protocol.
